Ambassador’s Message On Eid-al-Fitr
I extend my warmest greetings to brotherly Afghan people and congratulate the Islamic world on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 threat has cast a shadow on the holy month this year and has kept us from coming together and fully celebrating the festivities.
Nevertheless, I expect this period has given us an opportunity to reflect on our priorities. I wholeheartedly hope that the Eid-al-Fitr would pave the way for a long-overdue sustainable peace and prosperity to Afghanistan, and I would like to assure that Turkey will continue to stand by the Afghan people to this end as long as our help is needed.
On behalf of the Turkish people and the Embassy staff, I wish the brotherly nation of Afghanistan Eid Mubarak.
