The Informal Meeting of Ministers and State Secretaries for European Affairs with EU Member States and Candidate Countries will take place in Bucharest, on 11 March 2019.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU, Ambassador H.E. Faruk Kaymakcı will attend the meeting representing candidate country Turkey, hosted by the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU, where representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament and the General Secretariat of the Council will also be present. During the meeting, the progress of candidate countries towards their EU membership will be discussed.
