No: 20, 19 January 2018, Press Release Regarding the Participation of the Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız will represent Turkey at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that will be held in Jeddah on 21 January 2018 to discuss the developments regarding the firing of ballistic missile by the Houthi militias in Yemen towards Riyadh.
Before the said event, OIC Contact Group on Yemen, which was established in 2015 upon the proposal of Turkey, will hold a meeting. Contact Group meeting will discuss political and humanitarian situation in Yemen.
In the framework of his visit to Jeddah, Deputy Minister Ambassador Yıldız will hold various bilateral meetings as well.
