3rd of October, the anniversary of the signature of the Nakhchivan Agreement, which established the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council) among Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in 2009, is celebrated as the Turkic Speaking States Cooperation Day.

We are proud of the successful projects and achievements realized by the organization thanks to valuable support of member states in the short period of time since its foundation. This year, we are also honoured to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the other member states of the Turkic Council.

We have no doubt that the Turkic Council, which plays an important role in terms of creating opportunities for cooperation based on common language, history and cultural values in the Turkic World and enhancing friendship and solidarity among our peoples, will hereafter continue to serve maintaining peace and prosperity in its region and beyond.
