No: 180, 8 June 2017, Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attack on A Military Base in Somalia
We have regretfully learnt that today (8 June) an attack on a military base in Puntland region has killed and injured many soldiers.
We strongly condemn this terrorist attack against the security forces who devotedly work to ensure peace and stability in the country.
We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack, convey our condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and wish speedy recovery to the wounded.
Our solidarity with the Somali people and Government will continue in the fight against terrorism.
