Press Release Regarding the Attack Perpetrated Against Our Citizens in Somalia

We have learned with sorrow that a Turkish citizen as well as an Azerbaijani and Somali citizens lost their lives in an attack perpetrated this evening
(30 March 2016) against a vehicle carrying Turkish citizens in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. A number of Turkish citizens were injured in the said
attack.
We wish God's mercy on those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to their families and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.
The condition of our wounded citizens is closely monitored by our Embassy in Mogadishu.
We condemn and deplore this heinous attack.
