The Rt Hon Philip Hammond, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, will pay a visit to Turkey on 14-15 January 2016 upon the invitation of H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.

During the visit, Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond will have bilateral meetings with H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and he will be received by H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, and H.E. Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu. In the framework of the visit, the sides will exchange views on bilateral relations as well as current regional and international issues. They will also evaluate the opportunities for further enhancing the ongoing comprehensive cooperation between Turkey and the Great Britain in many fields.

On the occasion of his visit, the guest Foreign Secretary will address the Turkish Ambassadors during the dinner to be given on 14 January within the scope of the VIII. Ambassadors Conference.
