Mr. Emin Önen, Member of Parliament from Şanlıurfa and Head of the Turkish Delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentarian Assembly (OSCE PA) has been re-elected Vice-President of the OSCE PA for three years at the 23th Plenary Meeting of the Assembly held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan on 28 June-2 July 2014.

Mr Şevki Kulkuloglu, Member of Parliament from Kayseri has also been re-elected as Vice-President of the General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions in the above mentioned meeting.

The reelection of our Members of Parliament to these offices creates an important opportunity within the framework of Turkey’s parliamentarian diplomacy and the importance it attaches to taking the political dialogue between the OSCE’s 57 participant States and 11 cooperation partners to the parliamentary level.
