Press Release Regarding the Attacks Perpetrated in Kenya

We have learned with deep sorrow that dozens of people lost their lives as a result of attacks perpetrated against a police station and nearby hotels in the Kenyan town of Mpeketoni on 15 June.
Turkey is against all forms of terrorism, whatever its source, motivation or purpose may be.
We strongly condemn these heinous attacks targeting the stability of East Africa, particularly Kenya, extend our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and hope for a speedy recovery of the injured.
